I am at least 21 years old. I am a qualified researcher, or I am purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, institution, or business engaged in legitimate scientific research. I have the training, equipment, and facilities to handle research chemicals safely.
02What these products are
I understand that every product sold by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] LLC is a laboratory reagent supplied strictly for in-vitro research. Products will never be used for human or veterinary purposes of any kind — not for consumption, injection, topical application, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of any condition. They are not drugs, cosmetics, foods, or dietary supplements and have not been evaluated by the FDA.
03What a certificate of analysis means
Certificates of analysis document laboratory testing of a batch; they are not evidence of suitability for any use in a living organism. Purity and identity results describe the material as tested, not any biological effect.
04Assumption of risk
I assume all risk associated with the handling, storage, and use of the products I purchase. I will follow applicable laboratory safety practices and all federal, state, and local laws, and I will not transfer products to anyone who has not accepted these same terms.
05Release and indemnity
I release [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any and all claims arising from my purchase, handling, or use of the products, and I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising from my conduct.
06Right to refuse
I understand that Patriot Labs may refuse or cancel any order it believes is intended for a non-research use, without explanation, and that any such order will be refunded in full.
07Consequences of misuse
I understand that misuse of these products is a material breach of the Terms of Service, may be unlawful, and voids every warranty and remedy.
08Signature
Checking the acknowledgement box and completing a purchase constitutes my electronic signature on this waiver, with the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the E-SIGN Act and applicable state law.
